Gorgeous harmonies, beautiful music and lyrics - it's all here. Some of the songs are a bit slow or obscure ("Pretty Maids All in a Row"), but when they get going, they really get going. That said, it is absolutely amazing that a group can be apart for so long and put on a performance such as this.
The new songs are good - the most memorable being "Love Will Keep Us Alive." The classics are there too, including a beautiful new acoustic version of "Hotel California" and an absolutely knock 'em dead version of "Take It Easy" with a fab guitar solo courtesy of Mr. The sound is also quite impressive for a live concert. Walsh.
The Eagles had 14 years to get over themselves and put all the pettiness behind them that originally drove them apart. Schmit and Don Felder were all in their prime and look fantastic. This is a must-have for Eagles fans and fans of music in general.

And the video work is outstanding. The singing and music is perfection. This may be one of the best music DVDs available.I rented this DVD a couple of times and realized it was a must buy.I hope you find it as enjoyable. I grew up hearing the Eagles on the radio. I wouldn't say I was a big fan; didn't own any of their records when I was a kid, didn't see them in concert.but I must admit, this concert is one of those rare moments where conditions come together and greatness occurs.They are really tight with their playing.

One last thing, why couldn't somebody SHUT that guy UP. Thank Mr. Hi, I've owned this DVD since it was released, and my wife and I still watch it at least, 2-3 times a month. If you watch Don on the stool in the beginning, he starts to get worried and his head turns back and forth, and suddenly there is a look of disgust on his face. The adding of Joe Walsh in '76 gave them all the rock they needed. I can feel for him. With their music I would be too.
Their passion for their craft, and music is second to none. The Eagles 'ROCK' real well, without making ear bleeding noise.
I thought it was priceless. He should've gone to a Metallica head banger.
I just wanted to share a part in the concert where my favorite song, LAST RESORT starts. in the audiance who was yelling ROCK and ROLL constantly.
Walsh for that influence. If your system can pick it up, he is upset over a BUZZING noise, and it goes away.
